Café Au Lait

Thursday is here! Thanks to everyone who has been leaving me lovely comments on my projects I really appreciate it! I have to say I have had so much fun creating these projects, but more fun sharing them with all of you! I wish we could just have a giant crop and scrapbook together! Today Prima shared the Coffee Break Collection on their blog. While this collection is very colorful, it's truly not my color palette, as you all know I am more into the browns, darks, and vintage colors. I wanted to challenge myself though and create something colorful with this fun line! So funky and retro, I love it! So here is Café Au Lait...

Oh and guess what? This project is coming to Live With Prima! Yes! Love it! You will be able to make it alongside me! SO exciting! Can't wait! Be sure to check out the Prima blog for more amazing projects using this wonderful collection!
Thanks for stopping by!
(P.S I am so close to 1000 followers! If we get there, maybe a giveaway is in order?)

Hello Everyone!
It's Wednesday, the middle of the week! Two more days until the weekend! Woohoo! I am really enjoying this weekend of reveals on the Prima blog because I get to share with everyone all of the projects I have created with the new collections. Today's collection on the blog is called Epiphany. Truly an elegant collection, sort of reminds me of something very shabby chic and beautiful. I really like the look of it, the scribbles are so much fun. I like the look of a gatefold album so I decided to do a fun gatefold but with a little different take. The album I made is large, about 7x7 and is an overlapping album, meaning the cover overlaps. Which I really like, and love the look it gives.
Take a look:

A little peek of the inside...

SO there you have it! I will be teaching this class during the fall, I can't wait! Meanwhile be sure to checkout the Prima blog for some more amazing projects!

Happy Tuesday Friends!
Another amazing collection has been released on the Prima blog, Cigar Box Secrets! I have to say this collection is truly stunning! Classic vintage Prima images mixed with a beautiful color palette. It's truly a stunning collection! I took the opportunity to work with Cigar Box and create an album and box combo to go along with it and store the book. I think it turned out pretty cute! The name of the book is Bohême, just reminded me of something free and beautiful. Take a look:

Neat isn't it? Love the colors, and yes that box has TONS of liquid pearls! I have to say it took me a while to put those on but it really adds so much to the box! Love the way it looks! Have you checked out Cigar Box Secrets yet? Come on over to the Prima blog to check it out!

Happy Monday Friends!
It's a happy day at Prima as we are getting ready to release our brand new Summer Collections! They have shared the first of four brand new collections on the Prima blog, Forever Green. I have to admit this is a favorite for me, the imagery and colors are so awesome! Love the chalkboard look, which honestly, I feel has not gone out style. Succulents, plants, and lots of botanical awesomeness wrapped up in a collection = perfect. I decided to create an album with this collection, lots of awesome pockets, flaps and more. I will be teaching this class in the fall..Take a look:

I love how the gold accents really make the whole book POP! I added the cute metal embellishments on the side that come as part of the ephemera pack. Love the paper, and the resin frame on the front. I will be sharing more as I go. I also wanted to share that I was on the Paperclipping Rountable once more last Tuesday, talking about male scrapbookers. It was a fun time, click HERE to listen to the podcast. Special thanks to Noell for once again inviting me.

I also wanted to share that I will be teaching this album at Scrapbook Paradise in Reno in November! Here is the scoop:

If you are in the Reno area I hope to see you there! I will be sharing some more sneaks in the next couple of days! Stay tuned!

Hello Everyone!
Happy July! I always get excited when I get to reveal new products with Prima. It's an exciting time truly! I will be on Live With Prima tomorrow creating this fun altered clock frame! I really like the way it turned out, the colors are so vibrant and I love the fact that there is so much that you can do with these frames. Even if you want to change the original color of it. I really wanted to go with an awesome Patina color mixing in my favorite gold colors. I used a variety of mediums including crackle paint, some alcohol inks and more! I had so much fun making this project! Also, as an extra theres a small little album tucked inside of it just for fun.

Fun fun eh? I also used some of our new resist canvas sheets, and some of these fabulous glass beads we will be launching soon later this month, so you are totally getting a peek at these awesome goodies. I will be on Live With Prima tomorrow at 6:30 PM PST, on the Prima Ustream Channel.
See you there!
