Happy Sunday friends!
Hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend so far! Just wanted to share some updates that are coming up, but before I do that. I wanted to share some photos from my last class in Temecula California. I taught at The Stampin Post for the first time and I had so much fun! Shop owners Deb and Randy are the sweetest! So attentive and awesome! The students were also wonderful! I had a blast with them. I taught one of my favorite classes, La Vie II which is always a thrill for me because it's an intense and fun class. People love the end result and it makes me so happy.

Such a fun group. I also wanted to give you guys some updates of what I have coming up. I have some new classes listed under the "classes" link. I will be teaching some local classes as well as some classes in Texas and possibly in Illinois. If you are in the area, I hope to see you there. I will also be on Live With Prima on Thursday July 3rd at 6:30 PM PST. I will be showcasing a brand new Prima altered frame. I can't wait! I hope to see some of you there!

Have a wonderful Sunday!

Thanks Again Puerto Rico

Hello Everyone!
Happy Monday! I had an amazing weekend and I just came back from teaching at The Puerto Rico Scrapbook Event in San Juan Puerto Rico! I was lucky to be invited once again to teach at this event and honestly I am so honored! I taught along some of the top artists in the industry, Teresa Collins, Vicky Boutin, and my lovely Steff Miller! WOW! Talk about being honored! I wanted to share the projects I made for the event and also a few moments from the event! It was such a blast! I wanted to take a moment and thank Yamille, the organizer of this amazing event, she is such an angel and its just so amazing how she is able to organize such a world class event! Also a special thanks to all the helpers and everyone who made the event run smoothy! Ok here are the projects I made along with some moments during the event! ( Warning this post will be photo heavy!!)

This is Soleil, a mixed media layout that was framed. I have to say this is one of my favorite creations  that I have made! I used my Cartographer collection of course and some yummy metals.

Next is La Vie IV, which is an 8x8 mini album. I love the size of this one and how much you can put inside.

Here are some fun moments:

Fun stuff eh? I want to thank all of the amazing students that came to my class! You are all so amazing, fun and so wonderful! That is why I love Puerto Rico, there truly is no place like it in the world. Everyone is just so kind and loving. I hope I can come again soon. A special thanks to Yamille for being amazing as well. I will be sharing some more photos in the coming days! Stay tuned.

Happy June Friends!
We are basically half-way through the year! Summer is just beginning here in Southern California, so it's starting to get HOT! Not the best thing for me, but I always look forward to the fun things that happen during Summer. Like the Puerto Rico Scrapbook Event which I will be part of next week! I can't believe it came so soon! I am nervous and excited, and cannot wait to see all my Puerto Rico friends! In other news The Scrapbook Diaries just released their Beauty & Grunge Mega Kit! I have to say I am so honored to be part of this, and honored to be alongside scrapbooking names such as Nadia Cannizzo, Kasia Krzyminska, Gabrielle Pollaco! These amazing artists are some of the best in the industry!

So we all got to work with one kit, which was amazing and beautifully put together! Check it out:

Here is my take on this kit! First is my kit that I had to work with I created this layout called Magnifique:

I loved working with all the Prima goodies in the kit, combining the Seashore flowers, with some of the Jute flowers from our last release was great, I added some lovely Color Bloom action in Gold Foil as well as a few chippies that were in the kit. The Color Bloom combo created a beautiful patina effect which I truly love, and I show you how to do in the video.

Next, I got to work with Nadia's kit and here is my take on hers:

Lots of lovely embellies, again the attention is drawn to the resin frames which truly get transformed with the color blooms, beautiful Prima flower mix as well as some stencil and modeling paste work with the included stencils. I love the splatters and the touch of orange from the included mini mister color. I have to admit, it was interesting for me to work with pre-selected kits where I couldn't add anything extra. I am so used to creating with as much product as I like. It was definitely a fun challenge and it pushed me creatively.

Well there you have it! If you are interested in picking up this amazing kit please CLICK HERE to visit The Scrapbook Diaries, it is totally worth it, and if you are in the US you get FREE shipping.
