PaperClipping Roundtable

Tuesday, January 28, 2014

Hello friends!! I hope everyone is having a wonderful week! I was so lucky to be invited today to be a guest on the Paperclipping Roundtable! A special thanks to Noell Hyman for inviting me to be a guest! In this episode we discussed Artful Scrapbooking. I feel very passionate about this particular topic because I personally believe that everyone's work can be a piece art. Whenever I create projects I always see them as pieces of art. If you spend time, effort and valuable creativity on something, why not call it art? We spoke about my personal design process, and about how my projects have so much dimension. Here is the link to the recording, I hope you guys enjoy it:

I also leave you with some of my favorite dimensional projects:

Thanks for visiting.

L'histoire de notre amour NEW class for 2014

Sunday, January 19, 2014

I must admit it.
I am mini album obsessed at the moment. I have been creating several mini albums for CHA and I am so excited to begin teaching these classes this year! I wanted to share one of the mini albums I will be teaching at Scrapbook Paradise in February. I used the new Prima Stationer's Desk Collection. I had so much fun with this one. Take a look:

I painted all the pages gold. It was really a good idea it made all the reds and beautiful black tones pop! I also used some vintage trim on the side and sprayed it with two different mists, one had a tan color and the other was a slight grey tone. Turned out beautifully. I also used one of the new Ingvild Bolme Resin frames and painted it with some glimmer glaze. What a great effect. Looks vintage and worn, just how I love it! If you will be in the area in Reno Nevada, come check this class out! I will be there February 22nd, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM. For more information contact Scrapbook Paradise.

Have a great Sunday!

Hello friends!
It was an amazing time at CHA Winter Mega Show this past weekend! I got to meet some online friends in person, got to hang out with some of my favorite scrappy people and best of all got to debut my first collection with Prima Cartographer! I want to thank everyone who came by the Prima booth and said hello! Even if it was brief, I love seeing all my friends, customers, and colleagues. I want to share some highlights from the show:

It was definitely an exciting time! I also had the opportunity to teach at the Anaheim Art-Venture, here is the project I taught using my Cartographer Collection:

I had so much fun teaching this class! Thanks to everyone who came! Now as promised a lucky winner for the surprise Cartographer goodies!

I have French heritage and am so glad that a collection captures the romantic side of me. Not to mention the cartography and grunge sort of Steam Punk feel to the design elements. Can't hardly wait to use this collection! Frank and Prima: the Dream Team!

Jeanne please email me at to claim your surprise!

Thanks everyone for stopping by!
(P.S. I have some new classes listed under Live Classes!)

BIG NEWS Presenting Cartographer Collection

Thursday, January 2, 2014

Well friends, the time has come to reveal some BIG news I had been dying to share. Today Prima has posted an array of sneak peeks and there is one there that is SPECIAL! I am EXCITED to announce I have designed a collection for Prima. The Cartographer Collection! It's been in the works for a little over a year and I am over the MOON excited that it is NOW here!!!! Here is the sneak peek:

I think I want it all and NEED it all! Of course it is french themed and vintage, it is everything that I love wrapped up into a collection. I hope you all will love it as much as I do, there is truly a piece of me in every single part of this collection. I like to describe it like this:

" Cartographer is a recollection of French-inspired romanticism, cartography, and vintage flair. This line captures the essence of French nostalgia, worn and vintage maps, and the old-fashioned art of cartography "

Lovely right?
I couldn't have done this without all YOUR support. You will be seeing more of Cartographer in the upcoming weeks. I cannot wait!

I have a GIVEAWAY too!!!

Leave me a comment and share the Cartographer Collection image above on your Facebook and I will send a lucky winner a little Cartographer prize pack! You have until the 10th! Good Luck!
