Fairy Rhymes Magical Banner Class

Friday, October 25, 2013

Hello Friends!
Happy Friday!
I hope everyone had a great week! I know I am looking forward to the weekend and doing some crafting as well along the way! Today I wanted to share one of the projects I will be teaching at Scrapbook Paradise in Reno NV, I will be there the weekend of November 15, 16, 17. I am so excited! This store is so wonderful and the owner, Laura is truly a sweetheart. I will be teaching 3 different classes and this is one of them. It is a sweet Fairy Banner using the Fairy Rhymes Collection...

Very cute right? Love the details and tulle in there. Loving the flowers too! Lots of pretty mixed media colors, inking and stenciling! If you are in the area be sure to stop by Scrapbook Paradise! Have a great weekend!

Stockholm Recap + Thank You

Wednesday, October 23, 2013

Well I am back from Sweden. What a week. I have got to say that I am so happy I got to attend the Stockholm Scrap Class Event in Sweden. A special thank you to Sofia & Peter who organized the event. It was an amazing experience. It was my first time traveling to Europe, and I have to say I fell in love. There is a charm to Europe that you simply cannot find here in the United States. The silence, the weather, the quaint-ness of it all. It was all so...well beautiful and perfect. Sweden is a gorgeous country. Stockholm was beautiful as well. So many picturesque places and beautiful scenery. I would definitely make it a vacation destination at some point. I was lucky enough to get to teach alongside some of the most influential and talented scrapbook designers in the industry right now. Donna Downey, Ania Dabrowska, Gerry Van Gent. Three amazing artists who made my weekend fabulous. I have to say the highlight of my weekend was Gerry Van Gent. I am a fangirl at heart and I really looked forward to meeting Gerry. She is as sweet as I imagined, so full of energy, talent and positivity. This girl is simply amazing. I am glad we got a chance to spend some time together. I don't think I could've imagined it without her. I would like to thank all the wonderful students who came to my class, they were truly an amazing group of people. Here is a picture recap:

I also got to meet some amazing online friends. It was quite the amazing weekend. I would do it again in a heartbeat. It is so true that the company really makes everything worth it. It was a great event and a beautiful country. Thank You to everyone. Thank You Stockholm for allowing me to come and teach in your country.

Les Plus Beux Mots II

Saturday, October 12, 2013

Sometimes if you need inspiration you do not need to look to far. What works for me is looking into my own work and galleries. I feel inspired and sometimes even wonder how I created a past project! This really pushes my creative envelope! I was recently asked to design some classes for South Africa. I didn't have to look far for inspiration. I looked at my classes from Puerto Rico and thought, hm, these layouts would look amazing with Delight as well. So here they are...

Shabby beautifulness. Love how these two turned out. I hope you try this yourself. Challenge yourself to scraplift your past projects, You will be surprised what you can come up with.
