A Year In Review: 2013

Tuesday, December 31, 2013

I guess it's that time of the year again to do a recap. I always find the end of the year hard. I love winter and Christmas so much. I wish it was year round. This year I have so much to be thankful for. So many things happened to me this year and I am grateful and feel truly blessed. I have so much to look forward to in 2014 and I know it will only get better from there. Of course, I have to thank all of you, my friends, for all my blessings. Without you I wouldn't be where I am now, doing what I love; scrapbooking. I think this craft has taught me so much and has opened my eyes in so many ways. Iv'e met so many wonderful people and taught so many fun classes in different places this year. I can't believe how fast it went by. Of course my biggest highlight is working for the best company in the world, Prima. A lot of what I do I owe to Prima, for giving me an opportunity to educate others on their wonderful products. I wanted to share with you all my favorite projects of 2013. I will TRY to cap it at 10 LOL, I may not, who knows! Let's see:

Oh, how I love these projects. Thanks for allowing me to share them with you, I can't wait to share what is coming in 2014! I am SO excited....

Until then, Happy New Year friends. I hope you and your family are blessed and that this new year brings you tons of happiness. You deserve it.

I always get excited when there is a new magazine release. PaperHaus is my baby after all. Hello Everyone!
Happy Friday! It's been a busy week for me, gearing up for CHA and preparing for the Holidays, it feels like its GO GO GO! I enjoy being busy. I just got back this week from Scrapbook Paradise in Reno Nevada. I have to say every time I go there I have the most amazing time. The people there are dimly wonderful, so loving, kind, and passionate about scrapbooking. The owner, Laura, is a sweetheart. Truly sweet and kind! Me and Jodie Lee had a chance to once again teach at this store and we had a blast! Driving up to Reno is about 8 hours from Los Angeles. Which is quite a ride. However it is very scenic, beautiful forests and lakes. I love doing the drive, you don't even feel it. Here is a little re-cap of our trip down to Reno:

It was windy and chilly!

Mono Lake :)

I wanted this shabby bench in my home. :(

Packing kits!

Yep, that was Reno in a nutshell. I would do it again in a heartbeat. It's so peaceful there and I love, love the people. So welcoming and sweet. Thanks Laura for having us in your store once more and I cannot wait until next year! I am excited to see what 2014 will bring!!

Happy Thursday Friends!
I gotta say I love rainy days! It is raining today in Los Angeles! Woohooo! So what a perfect day to scrapbook and craft right? Well today I wanted to share a new layout I made exclusively for The Scrapbook Diaries! Have you had any time where the papers you own are just not the right ones? Well I had a situation quite like that, so I decided to create my own background using different mediums and sprays. Check it out:

This layout is filled with techniques and amazing embellishments! Would you like to try it yourself? Head on to The Scrapbook Diaries to get your own kit! Click HERE. I had so much fun with this layout, I hope you get to try it as well.

I hope you have a wonderful scrapping day!
