Fantastic Sunday with friends+ Prima + Finnabair

Monday, July 30, 2012

Happy Monday Everyone!
WOW I had the most busy creative weekend ever, I first went to see Cirque Du Soleil Friday, which was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G if you ever get a chance to see one do it, its so worth the money. However that is not my awesome weekend news, I had the chance to take a Prima Class yesterday hosted by Swirlydoos, the instructor? WELL none other than the amazing Anna Dabrowska ( or as some people call her Finnabair) she is an amazing mixed media artist genius who was nice enough to teach a Mixed Media album class here at the Prima Warehouse in Chino, California. I have to say this class was pure AMAZING, she is one talented artist and a true master of her art, she really takes you out of your comfort zone and pushes your creative boundaries which I LOVED, and most of all she is super sweet and cute! Love her! I was able to make a super sweet Prima canvas album, which OMG is so amazing if you have not gotten your hands on one of these, GO, just GO get one, they are super amazing! Here is how my cover, back cover, and inside first pages turned out, we didn't finish the book, there was so much to do but I will finish it!

Happy Friday!
I am super happy today not only because I have a new Project W but because I am going to see Cirque Du Soleil tonight with the dh.... omg!!! So exciting! I have been wanting to go so badly and now I will! Wish me luck! Did I mention I LOVE canvas? Yes, yes I do and I especially love the way canvas works with any mediums, say gesso, glimmer mist and tons of love? I simply love how this journal came out! Take a look! Warning, picture overload ;)

Look at those dyed sheets of paper? Neat huh! You will not believe how I did it, super simple!

YUM! Lots of gesso, mists and fun! I had very inky fingers after this but it was all well worth it! This is a special gift for someone who I will reveal on Sunday, I hope that person likes it as much as I enjoyed making it!
Now here are your project sheets!

Hope you try it out!!! Well I am off to get all ready for tonight, need to find my outfit! lol Thank You so much for stopping by and for your wonderful comments.

Basically Bare: Mixed Media Canvas

Monday, July 23, 2012

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today I am sharing some more Basically Bare New Release Products on a canvas I made! I really love these Basically Bare embellishments, I probably have said this a million times but they are SO versatile!!! These new embellishments, the Jailer Keys and the Fanciful Frames II have to be my absolute favorites! You must get your hands on these, they are so cool!

Here is the canvas I made!

I simply love the colors, the texture on this, and those amazing Basically Bare embellies, I am in LOVE! I really hope you try them they are so much fun to work with. This was a very personal canvas, I really thought of the colors and content and I was very emotional today, so that inspired me to make this, it will sit on my desk as a reminder of my soul and its meaning.

Thanks for stopping by today I appreciate all of your comments!

Project W019: Vintage Envelope Mini-Album Featuring Graphic 45

Friday, July 20, 2012

It's Friday!
I am happy! YAY!
Initially this Project W was going to feature not only the mini album but the vintage camera in the background which HOLDS the mini. However, I searched in all my local stores for the trays I used for the camera and couldn't find them! Therefore I could not post a project sheet for the camera. Those trays were part of the Flying Unicorn July Kit Of The Month. If anyone finds these trays locally or online please email me so I can create a project sheet for you all. I apologize. However, I will show you how to create this awesome vintage mini! Take a look, the camera is there too! Prepare for a picture overload!

All of this with some yummy Graphic 45, some Timmy, and some imagination LOL. Oh I had so much fun, I think the camera has been my biggest creative endeavor. I am super happy the way it turned out. I had so much fun, and I love that it holds my mini!!! LOL OK so just to let you know Flying Unicorn has all Graphic 45 20% right now! SO rush on over there! Click HERE!

Ok now on to the project sheets, there is 5 (!!) but one is just the template, so its not that long!

There you have it! I leave you with this picture I took when I went hiking with the dh, I really had a blast! He is so much fun to hang out with! More on that later!

Have a great Friday!!!

Thanks for stopping by today!!
