Happy Saturday friends!
I rarely post on Saturdays, but I was so eager to post this layout I made yesterday at the Halloween Prima Crop. I had so much fun and loved catching up with some friends there. It's always a fun time at the Warehouse and best of all you get to play with some Prima goodies.

So I brought a cake along! Look at how yummy, and of course it had to say We Love Prima!

Some amazing friends!
Jodie Lee, Kwan, Sherry Mendoza and Me.

So here is the layout I made. I really wanted this to look very old looking, vintage, with a beautiful kind of book opening element. Take a look:

I think it turned out awesome! Don't you? I love the folded look and the yummy neutral colors! I also love the twine that I tied to hold the pages open. Super nice touch I think! Alright! Thank You for stopping by, I hope you were inspired today!

Happy Day!

  8. As I was looking (& drooling) over your photos, I was saying to myself AWESOME. So, yes, I agree with you haha. And the twine holding back the torn pages is a fantastic idea. A superb layout Frank. Where do you find your inspiration. Feeling jealous that I don't live nearer and could join in with all the fun (or just eat all the cake lol). Pxx

  9. Nice looking cake... Yet another good design of your layout. I would like to do something like that for some of my pet layouts. But know it might get crushed in the page protectors of my albums. But you're giving me some good ideas.

It's a loooong way to CA from where I live in the northern Santa hemisphere but I can sure drool and dream :)) Vintage is my fave all categories and this is just breathtaking! how clever to stitch the folded corners to keep them in place, didn't see it until the close-up. Ogling some more! cheers! xoxo
