Project W018: Step-by-Step Mixed Media Layout

Saturday, July 14, 2012

Happy Saturday Friends!
So sorry that Project W didn't get posted yesterday, it turns out my dad's birthday was yesterday, so had to run up and down buying cake and going to dinner, and I did not get a chance to post it. I apologize for that! But it's here now, and I had so much fun! So a lot of people asked me about my previous mixed media layout and how I made it, and I thought I would do a step by step mixed media layout. Of course for this layout I was inspired by my dear friend Kory, did you go check out his cute dog layout? Please do, its so awesome! SO awesome I decided to make a layout with my doggy too! CLICK HERE to see Kory's layout!

Here is the one I made:

Lovely eh? Love the mix of colors, the dabs of gesso, the curling, distressing, ah. You see the chocolate brown twine? Yes my mom got me some, don't know where she got it from but its gorgeous. I also love the color of the Glimmer Mist Boardwalk, so pretty, dark and pretty.

Here are your project sheets to make your own step by step!

Have fun! Be sure to visit Jodie Lee's Etsy for those Prima Nature Garden flowers and embellishments!
Thanks for stopping by today!
