Basically Bare: Sweet Eyes

Monday, April 2, 2012

Hello everyone and Happy Monday!
I am so glad to share my first project for Basically Bare,
It is truly exciting and I am still so happy that I am part of this amazing design team! I cannot thank Angela Pruitt and all the girls at Basically Bare enough!

For my first project I made a layout. Of course, I added my little twist and played around with the lovely Basically Bare “Basically Embellies” which I used all over. I love Pennants, so when I saw these I just thought they were perfect for this page, so playful and fun. I actually used some acrylic paint and painted over them with several coats, then stamped with some Archival ink with a script stamp by Tim Holtz. The felt and the canvas Pennants are distressed with Distress Ink. For the paper I used the Paper Loft Hooked On Fishing Paper “Weathered Dock” It's really amazing! The weathered wood simply is stunning! Love that paper! Take a look:

I also used a lovely acrylic bird from the Stack-a-Bellies set, so lovely, and adds the perfect touch. The lovely writing in the banner was made with an amazing Millennium ZIG Pen, isn’t it so fantastic? Well I hope you enjoyed this layout and I hope I was able to inspire you today thank you for stopping by!
