One Last Christmas Card Before Christmas

Saturday, December 24, 2011

I hope everyone is ready!
Christmas is tomorrow! Or in a few hours if some of you stay up late and wait for Santa of course ;-)
I just wanted to share one last card I made for my co-worker who is an absolute sweetheart, she really makes work so much fun. I did some more of the background embossing and used some of the yummy Seasonal Distress Ink Iced Spruce I got from the Flying Unicorn Store, check it out.

Really love the contrast of the kraft paper against the carstock with the embossing, beautiful, I also added some of that yummy Pink Paislee tinsel trim Iv'e been hoarding forever! I don't want to finish it up its so pretty!!

Thank You for stopping by today, I hope you are ready for tomorrow, it will be a wonderful day!
Catch you guys a little later!

Anniversary Card

Thursday, December 15, 2011

Hello everyone!!! It's been a busy week for me, the Holiday rush is at full swing and its getting busier and busier as we approach Christmas! Love this time of year because everyone is shopping for their loved ones, you can feel the love in the air. I also love it because it's me and hubby's anniversary! Our anniversary was this Tuesday and we had an amazing evening, went to dinner, took some pictures, it was all so nice. 4 years of being together seems like so long but to me it has been like a blink of an eye. Hard to explain, yes, but it simply means that I am happy and I am where I belong at the moment! Of course one cannot be a scrapbooker if one does not craft something for this speciall occasion, so I made hubby a card. I really enjoyed making this one because I love that embossing and inking technique, its so awesome and gives it a real professional look! Take a look:

I am loving those Pink Paislee chip pieces from their Parisian Anthology collection, they are simply to die for! Really love that ink from Tim Holtz, Iced Spruce from the seasonal distress collection it's perfect for Winter cards or to add a little gray to any project!

Thank You for stopping by and I hope you are getting craft and getting your Christmas shopping done this weekend! We still have tons of tutorials coming and you can still play along at Santa's Workshop over at the Flying Unicorn forums! Click HERE!
