I hope everyone had a great Easter! I know I had fun with my friend, we had a great lunch, had a great afternoon taking a stroll, came home and relaxed with the family. There is a circus near my house, Iv'e never really been fond of circuses but I like the scenery. This inspired me to make this page. It took me a while to come up with a definitive layout on this one. I wanted to use two pictures instead of one, I couldn't make up my mind on which one to use so I said, what the heck I'll use both. I like the little folder I made ( you will see it in a minute) its a fun technique and allows for more space. All those embellies are too cute! The words are also gorgeous I totally love! Take a look!
I hope you guys like the page! I absolutely adore it!! I love the theme, the rosettes, the trinkets, everything!!! Ahhh, anywho stay tuned for Marilyn's Easter layout, I am so excited to see what she has created, I will also give you guys some details on my May designer soon, she is fabulous! Take Care everyone, enjoy your Monday!

Back to work today! I was off yesterday after an exhausting 8 day week, and I managed to scrap in the evening. I really need to get organized though, I have everything everywhere, I need to buy some storage bins or something. Scrapbooking is a messy hobby though so its ok, we are all excused. I made this page and placed it on a white piece of card stock, I don't usually use white, but its nice to have some white negative space from time to time. I used some pretty accents from the K&Company homemade collection, I love the accents they are so cute take a look:
We took this picture in the beach, it was freezing cold! But it was sunny, just that being next to the ocean made it very cold. I love the different color layers too the colors are just cute, I also placed a cute stamp from American Crafts, the musical notes are cute too. Thanks for stopping by, and have a great Thursday everyone!

Hello everyone, I am so happy to introduce this new segment in my blog!! I will be having guest designers show their work and share some great layouts with us as well as any techniques and simple, creative ideas they have. To kick things off to a good start I asked my good friend, and fabulous designer Marilyn Rivera to be my first guest. She is a great friend, fun and oh so creative!! I am so glad to have her as my April Guest Designer, for the month of April she will be sharing some layouts with us, tomorrow her and I will be sharing a Spring page stay tuned for that. Meanwhile lets get to know Marilyn a little better:
1. How did you get started in scrapbooking?
My sister Karen introduced me to this beautiful hobby four years ago and I loved it immediately.
2. What Inspires you?
Everything around me...a photo, a pattern paper, a piece of art.
3. When do you find time to scrap?
During the night.
4.What is your favorite scrappy brand?
I have many favorites...Webster Pages, Prima., Bo Bunny, Glitz, Crate.
5. What is something about you most people don't know?
I think I'm the only woman who doesn't like to go shopping, I don't like the shopping mall, lol!
Thank You Marilyn for sharing a little about yourself. I am very excited for her to share her page with us so stay tuned. Leave a comment and welcome Marilyn, I am sure many of you already know her, she is such a talented designer. Thank you once again Marilyn!! You can visit her blog here. Enjoy your Tuesday!

Hello everyone, I haven't posted in a couple of days because I have been busy at work, and had a couple of exams this week. This past Thursday was my best friend's birthday and co-author of this blog Lucy! Join me in wishing her a happy (belated) birthday!! She turned 24, we went out to celebrate yesterday to the Yard House, a rock and roll style restaurant. It was freezing yesterday here in Los Angeles, we had a promise of rain which sadly never came. We had tons of fun however, and it was the first time in quite a while I had gone out without hubby. It honestly felt weird. We are like Siamese twins most of the time, so not being with him is so strange. I managed to have fun nonetheless! Took tons of pictures I will be sharing later. The highlight of the evening was of course the scrappy birthday card I made her as well as the scrapbox I gifted her as well. Take a look:
And here is her scrapbox without the frame
With the box
The scrapbox said friend in 4 languages, Spanish, English, Japanese, and French. It was fun to make I even used some of that Tim Holtz ink lightly sprayed. I also love the color scheme, so beautiful. I am glad she liked it. Well everyone thank you for stopping by, have a great Sunday, and enjoy it! Thank You for all your wonderful comments.

Monday's are fun, I enjoy blogging early in the mroning, which reminds me that 9:57 is not that early in the morning to begin with haha. This weekend was a bit hectic at work, it has been very slow, nobody is spending any money, everyone appears to be saving it (except me), which is a good and bad thing I suppose. Hopefully things pick up, I know a lot of people who work retail will understand. I got a layout done last night, I was inspired by some layering I had seen on some of my old layouts. I just love layering, I used some distressed paper, and added a couple of accents. I like going through my stuff because I always find paper that I never used, or I planned to use and never did. I have so much that I forget sometimes. Hubby looks cute in this picture and his smirk.... well what can I say. Take a look:
What about that flair badge, sweet sunshine.... yummy!
I admit that I am a heavy user of foam dots, and glue dots, I just love layering. And just take a look at his shirt, he defenitely has gas...haha.
I like this paper that I used for this layout, it has some glossy finish even though you cant really see it from the picture. I enjoyed this layout its easy, fun, and simple. Thanks for stopping by! Have a great Monday!

Bonjour everyone!!! Welcome to April! March passed by me so quickly!! I didn't even feel it! April is here however, so lets enjoy, I hope however we have some April showers because here is SoCal it was 97 degrees today! Talk about yucky weather ugh! All that heat got my creative juices flowing and I made this April layout, I had wanted to make some yarn embellishments since the longest, so I tried that out today. I think they look fab, tell me what you think:
It took me a great deal of time to make all of those, but it payed off, they look so adorable, and the warm colors, well like I said it was 97 degrees so orange seemed like the best way to depict that haha. Well thanks for stopping by, I am going to start working on a birthday card later, I will share with you all soon. Until then, enjoy your weekend!!
