Tulip Fields Mosaic Layout....

Monday, May 9, 2011

Happy Monday everyone. This is Diana doing another Guest Designer post for Frank. First off I hope you had a nice Mother's Day, either being the center of attention or lavishing love on your mother. I was the recipient of attention; happily so.

Today I am sharing more photos of the Tulip Fields I visited several weeks ago. I like to make Mosaic layouts with pictures of flowers. I think they are very striking and fun to do. Several years ago I attended a Creating Keepsakes Convention and took a class given by Wish In The Wind Co. That is how I was introduced to Mosaic Moments. Their gridded lightweight card stock is very easy to use.  You can visit their web site here.  At the top is a tab to click on titled "Photo Mosaic Process". There is a video in that section that shows the process of easily creating Mosaic layouts.

The placement of pictures, embellishments or title blocks is what takes me quite awhile to do. I used 6 pictures in the making of this layout.

The Tulips were cut using the Cricut Cartridge "Walk In My Garden". I designed the date on my Gypsy and cut it out on my Cricut. I used a crimper on the green card stock to give it some dimension.

...a few closeups.

I hope you like this layout and will give Mosaic Layouts a try. It is fun to do and injects something new into our creating. If you want to see more of my Mosaic layouts use this link.

Thank you for reading this blog and any comments you leave. I hope your day is good.
