Mother's Day!

Sunday, May 8, 2011

Hey everyone! Its feels so good to actually write something on here, because ITS BEEN A WHILE! Now it seems that crafting becomes more difficult to do because I have a three year old son whom loves to get into my scrap-booking supplies. I also have two cats that like to leave there hair everywhere.
As a mother I'd always love to get things that are made by hand especially cards. Although Mother's Day is almost over, I'd like to share that my day has been wonderful. I had the pleasure of spending time with all the women in my family over brunch. This year rather than buy cards from places like hallmark or CVS I promised myself that I'd make all my cards by hand and save some money too. Here are a few of the cards I made...

Overall all of these cards were simple yet fun to make and I had all of the supplies already in my collection. I can't wait to make some more cards for the next holiday or birthday! Although this is really short, I'll make another addition to this blog soon!

  2. All the cards are wonderful. The one with all the words really inspires me to do that. I have (in my stash) pages of "words" and that would be a fun way to use them...Again, thanks Frank. I didn't know you were a dad...yes, a 3 year old can be inquisitive. haha I remember. Take care.

  3. I'm back.........Frank! haha on me. I need to pay more attention to who is posting on your shared blog. So I made you a father with the stroke of my keyboard...how funny. I still stand on the comment that 3 year olds can be inquisitive..... bye for now.
